Sunset Station was Station Casino's first ever attempt at trying to make local's-oriental Las Vegas Strip-like hotel and casino. It is named after Sunset Road, which is where the main entrance to the property is. The hotel and casino mainly caters to a local crowd, similar to other casinos owned by the Station Casinos corporation. The hotel is home of a bowling center, the Feast Buffet, Grand Cafe, and other places. The hotel is owned by Station Casinos and opened in 1997.
